Meet Aurélie!

Young girl with long dark hair smiling, holding a badge with Chinese and American flags, seated at a table in a conference room, with other participants and water bottles in the background.

Hi! I’m Aurelie—a student from Princeton who’s passionate about East Asian Studies and the ways language, history, and everyday cultural practices shape how people understand themselves. I created this blog to make East Asian Studies feel welcoming and alive for my community. Here you’ll find hands-on crafts, cultural stories, reflections from my Mandarin studies, and projects that explore identity, heritage, and connection. My hope is that this space inspires curiosity and gives others an easy place to begin their own journey into East Asian cultures.
