A space where culture meets curiosity — sharing my journey in East Asian studies through stories, crafts, language learning, and community projects.

AURELIE CHOI

Hi! I’m Aurelie, a student from Princeton, New Jersey, who’s passionate about East Asian Studies and the way language, history, and everyday cultural practices shape how communities understand themselves. My journey began with learning Mandarin in middle school. It grew through experiences such as calligraphy, cultural exchange programs, and hands-on projects that helped me connect more deeply with my heritage and the broader East Asian world. I created this blog to share that passion with my community—especially younger students who might be curious but don’t know where to start. Here, you’ll find crafts inspired by East Asian traditions, full cultural events, and accessible explanations of history, language, and identity. My goal is to make East Asian studies feel welcoming, creative, and alive, not just something you read about in a textbook.
